How to Make the Stuffing:
- The first thing we're going to start with is making the stuffing. For that, please first prepare all the equipment that will be needed. The equipment in question includes a pan, a whisk and a container. By preparing all these equipment, you will be able to make this dish easier and simpler.
- Next is to prepare the pot on the stove. Then add the durian together with coconut milk, sugar and salt. Stir all these ingredients evenly until combined.
- Then cook until this material becomes more smooth evenly and cooked. Remove and set aside temporarily in the container you have prepared.
How to Make Bakpao Skin Material:

- Add ice water into it and knead until smooth. Then add the white butter and salt. Stir until evenly distributed and elastic. Then add taro paste. Knead evenly.
- Weigh the dough weighing 30 grams each using a weighing machine. Then shape it into a ball and let it rest for about 10 minutes.
- Flatten the dough and fill the middle using the durian stuffing that we made earlier. Roll in half and cut lengthwise. Cross over the roll. Or close it again and shape it round.
- After that, place this dish on parchment paper and let it rest for about 20 minutes until it expands.
- Finally, put the dough into the steamer and steam until cooked and fluffy for about 10 minutes.
