  • 3 pandan leaves
  • 500 grams of sago flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 10 drops of red chili coloring

  • 25 pieces of kaffir lime leaves
  • 2 tablespoons of rice flour
  • 3 drops dark green coloring
  • 15 ml of suji leaf water taken from 30 suji leaves and 2 pandan leaves

How to Make Mini Sago Layer Cake

  1. The first step you have to do is boil the coconut milk together with kaffir lime leaves, pandan leaves and salt until it boils. When it boils, please turn off the stove and let stand until warm.
  2. Prepare a container and mix the ingredients such as rice flour, sago flour and sugar. Then stir the ingredients until evenly distributed.
  3. Take the coconut milk that has been boiled earlier. In a warm state pour in little by little while stirring until evenly distributed.
  4. Then divide the dough into 2 parts. The first dough is left white, while for the other dough, green food coloring and suji leaf water are added. If so, stir until evenly distributed.

How to Make Sago Layer Cake Dough

  1. Prepare a baking sheet measuring 24x24x4 cm. Then grease the pan with cooking oil or margarine. Then cover it with plastic. Next, heat the pan in the steamer.
  2. After the pan is hot, take the green dough and pour 1 tablespoon of vegetables or 200 ml into the pan. Then flatten. Steam the dough for about 5 minutes using medium heat.
  3. After that, take the white dough and pour 75 ml of the white dough on it. Steam again over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
